Hello,
I was wondering if you were going to offer the playtest classes animist and the exemplar. I know you have done playtests in the past. I would pay a small amount for those. Thanks! |

I would like to see the Animist and Exemplar added to the class mix as well during the playtest.

Past experience says no playtest in HLO. There is already a backlog of other things for the team, and spending time and effort on things that are short-lived is not a good use of their resources.

They have done play tests before. I think it would be good to compete with demiplane

They always depend on other projects at the same time, and when we get the information. This time we didn't even get any information ahead of time on the playtest classes, and with SF Enhanced and PF2 remaster coming up quickly, it's not something we can divert resources for right now for a 1 month playtest, no matter how much I'd like us to also provide them.
For a little extra context, classes are a lot of work. Kineticist is a bit of a bad example since it having 128 feats is outside the norm, but between that and its mechanical complications it took about 2.5 weeks to get done. If we had some lead time to plan and slot it in, and not such huge projects both at once for content releases, it's something we'd potentially do. I don't want to jeopardize new content though, especially for stuff that are largely throwaway work. Last edited by Daniel V; September 2nd, 2023 at 05:26 PM. Reason: Additional Context |

I think Character Operations Manual for Starfinder have been the last ones, and none for PF2
