I was playing around with Hero Lab trying to generate several characters with the same powers. I looked around but could not see if there was a way to copy the powers from one sheet/character and paste them onto a different sheet/character. It would save a huge amount of time for me.

Any help would be appreciated.

People have been asking for that functionality for years. Unfortunately, Word of God is that the data format simply doesn't allow for it. A year or two back, I had some moderate success copying and pasting parts of the files in a text editor, but it was pretty painful.

Duggan is correct. Currently, Hero Lab doesn't allow for this sort of functionality.

create the power in the editor with the Auto-add mechanism.

You can also start by adding just the powers you want duplicated onto a new character, then save that portfolio as the base to use for all the characters with that power set.

Currently Running: Pathfinder Second Edition
Currently Playing:
Pathfinder First Edition, Star Trek Adventures
Former HL Games: D&D 4e & 5e, Mutants & Masterminds 2E & 3E, Savage Worlds
