The file for the new Eldar codex will be available to download on the 11/12/06 from:

http://www.ab40k.org

Follow the links on the left hand side of the menu on the site to the downlaods area and then grab the file from there.

A full release will be distributed shortly afterwards

The new Eldar file is now available for download from the downloads section (patches) at http://www.ab40k.org.

Please check the bugtracker on the front page for known issues that have been logged by the maintainer, any issues that you may find should be logged to this as well.

Any issues on importing should be reported immediately.

There are also user submitted files available for both AB3.x and AB2.2 for download from the downloads section (user submitted patches)

I tried to download the Eldar Codex update patch, but when I chose "Open this file using Army Builder" it said "The selected file is mnot a valid import file for Army Builder". Did I choose the wrong option? Help!

Sorry to say but, "yeah" :/ Open army builder and choose tools from the menu, then import files.

also you may want to make sure you have the latest AB installed/updated. (v3.1c)

hope that helps.. and if you find any bugs check out the 40k maintainers site ( http://www.ab40k.org/index.php )and check to see if its reported already. if Not, lucky you.. Please post it and I'll get it updated by the next release if at all possible. Thanks WT

I trhought I had the most recent AB but I updated it anyway. That worked fine. I then re-tried to download and import the codex update and I got the same error message. The file name looks weird. It is called: eldar%20v2.ab. Is that correct?

I am using MSN to access the website and file, using Qwest DSL. The fdownload window says MSN File Download. I switched to IE and it worked. Thanks.
