Adding Archetypes to Existing Classes

The tutorial only talks about adding archetypes to a new class. I'm trying to add Beast Master to Ranger. I don't see how to do it. I tried using Hunter as a template but I can't see how to change the archetype features. Could someone step me through how to build a new archetype for existing classes from start to finish?
