I took an initial look at HLO a while back, but never really delved into it. Now, with the release of PF2, I took the leap. I bought PF2, and I created a character.

After creating the character, I was just looking around at the menus, and I clicked on something that took me back to the initial screen where I had the option to create a new character. The one I'd just created wasn't listed. I don't know what I clicked on. So I clicked the "back" button in my browser (latest version of Firefox).

There was my character again. I clicked to print, and was surprised that I was prompted to download a zip file. OK ... so I clicked to accept the download and save the file. The file was 0 bytes.

I clicked on "Characters", which took me back to the initial screen where I was asked to create a character, but the one I had just created still wasn't listed.

I clicked the browser's back button again and got my character back again. I was trying to find a way to save my character so I could log out and log back in and see if that would fix anything, but I could not find a save function. So I bit the bullet and closed my browser.

I opened it back up, browsed back to HLO, logged back in, and this time my character was listed. I tried printing again, but the file I download is still 0 bytes.

I just tried logging in with Chrome, and I'm told "Authentication Error: Invalid device name."

I'm using the same device and the same device name. Just a different browser.

Microsoft Edge works, but I'd rather use one of the other two browsers.

I don't know what happened, but Chrome started working. After that, Firefox started working. So ... OK ... yeah. I guess my browsers are just messing with me tonight.

It has been a roller coaster all weekend. From inability to even access right before a session (error message that it's unavailable) to error windows popping up with JSON, SQL, and timout errors, to the absolutely horrendously sluggish performance. Combine that with the pretty useless "printout" I created as a backup before Gencon (I was a skeptic), I'm very disappointed.

Me too. I would rate this as "barely functional." I hope to see things fixed up pretty quickly in the next couple weeks.

I suspect that after GenCon it's reliability will improve dramatically, merely due to less users trying to access it at the same time.
