It would certainly be nice to be able to specify image sizes or at least have the option for a few different standardized sizes. The current thumbnail size is completely unusable for me.

I agree. Having the scroll bar to increase/decrease the size is good but I would like to have the ability to click on a percentage like 50%, 75%, 125%.
