I'm rather new to the editor and scripting for Hero Lab. I'm trying to add in some of the 3rd party classes that i see on PfRSD.com Like the Tavern Brawler archtype and the arcanist class that is shown. I have player's who are using these classes and I'm trying to make it easier to understand and track their abilities.

Any help or recommendation would be greatly appreciated

The Arcanist class appears in the Advanced Class Guide, which you can purchase from the Hero Lab web site as an add-on for Hero Lab. Go to the License menu > Purchase Data Package, then type in your info, and scroll through the Pathfinder stuff to find the Advanced Class Guide.

If you've already purchased it, then you just have to select it as a source. Go to the Character menu > Configure Hero, and scroll through the check boxes to find the Advanced Class Guide.

It's an extra charge to purchase it, but if you've never used the editor before, entering a whole new class is not a trivial matter, and the amount of time, trouble and frustration you'll save yourself will be well worth the cost.

The Tavern Brawler appears to be from "Advanced Archetypes II" by Flaming Crab Games, which I don't see available on Hero Lab's site, nor in the free Community Pack.

And archetype would be easier to enter than a class, but it's kind of difficult to answer a question as broad as "how do I add an archetype?"

As far as general scripting help, I can point you to the following links:

And yeah i know it is a broad question i looked at some of the archetypes for the brawler class as a base but i didn't understand how it was changing or modifying the class abilities to affect the program properly

The class abilities are separate objects, so you have to look those up individually and see how they work.
