What I want to know is...
Since my upgrade to a new computer with Windows Vista I have been unable to see the contents of my roster directory. I can save the files and reopen them with AB 3.1. But if I open the directory in order to send a created roster to, say the officials at a tourney, the roster directory is empty? Why is that, what must I do in order for them to appear? I have full administration rights so that isn't the issue. Cheers You just got BlitZed |

That's odd. Have you changed the folder settings to show hidden & system files to make sure that's not the case?
Also, where are your rosters? Are they in My Documents? If you did an upgrade, it can get really funky. Vista changed "My Documents" location, it's now under C:\Users\Username\Documents or some such. But I notice my wife's PC (where I did an upgrade) the old dir still existed and it looked like windows was doing a hidden shortcut. Do a "windows search" for the rosters and see what you find... -Jamz RPTools.net | MapTool Discord Invite Download Latest MapTool Release | Download Latest TokenTool Release |

Yes I have changed to show the hidden files. The rosters are in the default directory. I bought an entirely new machine and did a reinstall of AB so thats not the case either. I've even tried making a new roster and save it as a txt file, and hit "recently changed files" the txt file appears in the searchstring but when I double click the shortcut to load the file with notepad it says the file doesn't exist.
I am really at a loss what is going on, but to me it looks like Vista is the culprit in this roster disappearance. You just got BlitZed |

Problem has been solved, albeit not in the way I intended it to. I had to choose "save as" and put the files in a new directory somewhere else

In AB's settings menu, there is a "Select Alternate Save Folder" option. Never tried it myself, but it might help.
