I am working on the Mist-tainted template from PZOPSS0005E - Pathfinder Society Scenario 05 - Mists of Mwangi and I need to lower an ability score to 6 if its higher than that.
Setting the value is fairly straight forward: Code:
hero.child[aCHA].field[aNormForce].value = 6 My primary code is: Code:
if (hero.child[aCHA].field[aNormal].value >= 7 )then hero.child[aCHA].field[aNormForce].value = 6 endif |

So I have decided that I dont want to use aNormForce because it permanently changes the ability value. Is there an effective way to imitate that functionality? IE get the total score, and then apply a penalty of value - 6 ?

Was able to figure this out by including aStartMod.
