IS ther a way to remove the Variants not desired for choice in the tab. I wish to keep some (but not all) but am unsure if I remove them if it will wreck the file and if it will overwrite what I change when I update...
Thanks for the Advice in advance.

Yes. Make yourself a new .user file. In the Hidden tab, use New (Blank) and enter in the id of the thing you are hiding. This won't get overwritten in future updates.

Ah, cool, thanks..

Is there a way to view a list of current Unique Id and their associated names other than opening each file to see what that file is currently Id as?

Not so much a list, but if you select a variant in HL, you can right-click and select "see tags" or something like that. The id for that class variant will be at the very top of the window that opens.

Unless I am over looking something, While in the Editor, the only Unique ID I see are the ones I have created...
Short of opening a duplicate (which seems cumbersome) there must be an easier way of determining the ALL (not just user created ones) IDs already present.

If there is a 'better' way, I haven't found it. Sometimes I just look into the raw XML and search for what I need, but it's not really any faster than just looking it up by opening a duplicate (I just cancel once I've found out what I wanted).
