Version 8.9a of Hero Lab was released today.

Fixes were made to internal scripts that were returning an incorrect value, leading to potentially adding a stack of 0 ammo for a weapon instead of the correct amount.
(Mac version) A crash error that manifested in some tabs (e.g. the 'Personal' tab in Pathfinder) on older versions of MacOS was fixed.
(Mac version) several related UI issues were cleared up which could cause lines to be displayed in incorrect locations.
