I am trying to find out if and/or how you can add an animal companion to a Ranger. I'm seeing very little information on this, or maybe my search skills suck. I'm betting it's the latter.

None the less, when I click on the Ranger tab I don't see any way to add one. I can add one as a Permanent Adjustment, but then I don't see anywhere where you can actually add an animal.

This post should be in the 5th Ed Forum.
To add an animal companion you would need to choose the 'Beast Master' Archetype, and be 3rd level - you will need the Community Pack files to do this. Having said that, I can't see any way to actually add or choose the companion either!

Current RPG's: Pathfinder (GM), Pathfinder (Player), Gamma World (GM, Pathfinder homebrew).
HeroLab: 3.5 & Pathfinder. HL User Files for PF: Greyhawk Setting, Gamma World (WIP).

DM and player of D&D since 1980.

Dami - Thank you for the reply!

I did have the Beast Master archetype, 3rd level, and the Community Pack both loaded and up to date. I'm kind of glad you didn't find it either so I know I'm not going nuts.

Sorry for the wrong forum. I almost put it in there, but thought it was more for development stuff. Can a Mod or Admin move it, please?
