D&D 5e Community Pack

I was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue. I've properly downloaded the community pack several times, while deleting the old files, and still it won't work. Every time I receive this message:

What do you think I should do?

I'm not seeing the image file you wanted to upload, can you transcribe what you are seeing?

Did this update break Hero Lab for anyone? The pack downloaded and now all custom content, including content that I have made, is now missing and all of my characters have giant errors in them.

If HL detects an error on load it falls into safe mode and will NOT load any .user files.

Restart HL and 5e. If you get an error window RIGHT click and select copy and paste the error here.

Stupid question you didn't use the two letter unique ID value of 5C for your unique ids you created did you? That is ONLY for community content to use.

The data files could not be loaded due to errors. Hero Lab will now attempt to load them in recovery mode. Once loaded, you can access the editor as normal to correct any errors.

The following errors occurred:

File: COM_Paul's_Files.user (line 1887) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('f5CInfCon') - found in 'COM_Paul's_Files.user', 'COM_5ePack_UA - Feats for Races.user'
File: COM_Paul's_Files.user (line 1914) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('f5CProdigy') - found in 'COM_Paul's_Files.user', 'COM_5ePack_UA - Feats for Races.user'
One or more timing errors were identified. Please review the timing report and correct the errors. You can access the report under the 'Develop' menu or by clicking this link.

And you are totally right. I had the feats made as soon as UA came out. And of course I somehow predicted the name that would be made in the community pack. hehe

There's a nice little best practices of what IDs to avoid besides 5C here.

Basically avoid using 5C and the following:

• FG - Frog God Games
• GR - Green Ronin Publishing
• HG - Hammerdog Games
• KP - Kobold Press
• LG - Legendary Games
• RP - Rite Publishing

This helps you avoid conflicting with the deployments, both the community and the official content markets.

The Pack should be using ONE and only one set of letters and that is 5C. It really gives no benefit to have so many different Unqiue IDs.

Because if Kobold Press does official content for HL they will use KP and Legendary Games would use LG.

COM_ files are "Community Created files in the Pack". You should NOT be following that naming convention unless your actually working on additions to be added. FYI...

Hello all, I am looking for some advice about updating to the 2.1 pack. I can’t seem to get the update to work on my iPad. I comes up with the error Specified file could not be located. Any thoughts?
