When I create a monster, I can specify its natural attacks, and I can add bleed as a special attack. However, I can't figure out how to specify which attack has the bleed effect and how much damage the bleed does.

Apply the tag Target.(whatever attack) to the bleed attack

Thanks, but I am not looking for a way to customize the bleed special attack. Bleed special attacks always have an associated normal attack and a damage amount, as in:

"Format: bleed (2d6); Location: Special Attacks and individual attacks."

Maybe this is just a bug that needs to be submitted?

If you copy and look at the scripts or view how it is used for other monsters, you can see that the special is usually bootstrapped with a Target tag and a livename set in the form of "Bleed (X)".
