I started building the Orcs and Goblins dat file today and I've been working on the new Armed to Da Teef rule for the Black Orcs. Although I want it to show the Strength bonus, attack bonus and parry bonus on the stat line, I want any Magic Weapon chosen to eliminate that upon selection. In other words, I give my Black Orc Warboss a Sword of Might, for whatever reason, his Strength will be 5/6 rather than 5/7(armed to da teef). Any suggestions? I've been perusing the other dat files for an answer and no luck so far...

Perhaps give him choppa, extra H/W and a great axe as default (0 point cost), and take them away when any magic weapon is selected?

im not sure this is such a good idea... i think it will be confusing for newbies if they look at the black orc line and see +2 str and +1 atk at the same time, then they will try to use them all at the same time and make forum posts sayign mean things about me because i make wrong files :~(

i think the best idea would be to put * beside the str and attacks if the model doesnt have a magic weapon, so that people know somehting strange is going on but there are no confusing numbers there??
