Playing Pathfinder 1st Edition and we use the exporter and we routinely used Save Custom Output to export characters for use in Fantasy Grounds. Is this not possible in Herolab online? If it is not that is a major loss of functionality... any idea if it is at least in the works?

LWD have introduced a new API which will allow VTTs to access character information in a different way. Perhaps you could try asking in the FG forums if anybody is working on implementing something for the new API.

This isn't a HLO exporter, but as Farling said, API's have been developed.
Read this API thread in Online Discussion, particular Boomers post at #10,
and this on Fantasy Grounds site:

Current RPG's: Pathfinder (GM), Pathfinder (Player), Gamma World (GM, Pathfinder homebrew).
HeroLab: 3.5 & Pathfinder. HL User Files for PF: Greyhawk Setting, Gamma World (WIP).

DM and player of D&D since 1980.
