If I wanted to edit a Feat in Hero Lab, like the Disciple of the Sword feat from Inner Sea Gods, so that it works for Paladins. How would I do this?
I don't (think) I need step by step instructions for the whole thing but at least a starting point on how to look at the feat and see how it was created so that I can then make the edits I want. |

In the editor - go to the Feat tab and click on "New (Copy)" and select a feat. This will show you how the feat was built. Then you may be able to modify it and save a new version with your changes. I don't have any Golarion HL packs, so I can't check if you can load "Disciple of the Sword".

So, this may be a silly question; but if I open up a New (copy) version of this feat and then save it I'm not actually editing the original feat right? I don't want to totally mess something up.

Also, once I have the feat properly edited to work with the Paladin class how do I upload it to my iPad so that the character sheet works there?

UPDATE:
So I've managed to get the feat to kind of work for a Paladin 4th level or higher but I can't seem to find a way for the feat to let the paladin count as a fighter of equal level for Greater Weapon Focus and Greater Weapon Specialization (longsword). What tag, edit, etc and I looking for? |

Ah, never mind, I figured it out. I'll need to create/edit versions of Greater Weapon Focus and Greater Weapon Specialization in order for this feat to work properly.

In the Editor, when you're in feats, there is an option called "Counts as feats". Center column, fourth line down. You should be able to tag your customized feat it so that it counts as one of those.
