Quick question, don't want to waste $. Local store has a sealed copy of 3.0. That should be good for the usual one year license and update to 3.3 correct?
Sent an email but it's been a couple days, figured silly me, forums can prolly get a much quicker answer. |

The "clock" starts on the day you *activate* the license. So even if the CD has been hiding in a dark corner in a retailer's storeroom for three years, you'll be fine. The only detail is that you'd have to download the latest updates, but that's quick and easy.
