The asterisk appears to denote that the character has situational bonuses for that skill, which on the character sheet I just downloaded are listed in detail in the skill modifier section.

Needed:
1) Option to remove gratuitous Hero Lab footer.
2) Option to combine into single PDF file.
3) Wasted space (2 lines used) for HP, Stamina, Resolve
4) Wasted space (2 lines used) for attribute modifiers
5) Font too small for associated attribute in skills section.
6) Garbage, extraneous text after associated attribute in skills section.
7) Font size inconsistent on section headers (gray background text)
8) Font too small for descriptions used in Defenses, Skill Modifiers, Special Abilities, Feats sections.
9) Missing Gear section in appropriate file.
10) Fix journal page sorting to be real world date by default. BTW, fix this on the journal page in app, too.
11) Option to set 1" top or left margin for binding.

And have you or anyone in this thread put in a bug report about the issue? Remember forum posts are not bug reports and LW will not react to them....

Untill a little earlier I wasn't aware that it was meant to have a portrait, but I've just reported it.

OK, I've cracked it.

If you have a character with a portrait that existed prior to the update of the character sheet system (mid June?) then the portrait will show on the online system but not on the pdf version.

You need to go back into the character, and upload the image to the HLO servers by clicking on the portrait and following the instructions. Then the image will appear on the pdf. I don't believe that there is a pre-set database of iamges, as there was before, you need to find an image to use.

Nice find!

I would update your bug ticket with this info as that can help LW track this down.

Darrell, I have a PF2 character that had a portrait prior to mid June and the portrait displays and prints just fine. However, the Starfinder characters, either old nor a brand new one I just created, has very fine default portraits displayed online, but will not print.

Looks like I didn't get a confirmation of my bug report last night. I'll try again later, though I guess that the team is more getting GenCon ready.

flyteach: This was all through Starfinder rather than Pathfinder2. I only discovered that there was an option for re-importing because I created a new character, and this showed me a method for correcting the problem in the old characters. If you have tried uploading a new portrait and it still doesn't show on the pdf, I'm not sure what to try next. Sory.

It’s ok. I didn’t have any portraits uploaded for SF, but in the previous version it used the default that’s on the web. They are still there online, but not printing.
