Hi,
We've read an errata with money cost for all the DMG items. how can I modify the existing items (not add items) so there would be a money cost for them ? (expecially magical items) Thanks |

The only way to do this would be to duplicate them all in the editor and add costs to them.
Incidentally, where did you see this errata? I'd like to see this myself. |

Was this official errata or something fans put together? Either way, I would like to see it.

While not official this seems to be the most complete listing:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8X...BicmpmUDg/view The official response too my knowledge is to provide guidelines but no specific item listings. This is from the September play-test. MAGIC ITEM RARITY Rarity Character Level Item Value Common* 2+ 50–100gp Uncommon 3+ 100–500gp Rare 5+ 500–2,000gp Very rare 7+ 2,000–5,000gp Legendary 9+ 5,000–10,000gp Artifact 11+ 10,000+gp *Playtest Note: The number of common items available in this playtest document is limited; more will be available in future updates. |

Great, thank you. Sorry to go off topic, but do you know of anything similar for non-magic items or guidelines for converting prices from prior editions?

Obviously there are prices associated with the items in the PHB but I havn't seen other items officially.
https://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/5e_Equipment This wiki lists some prices. Looking around it seems most prices between 3.5 and 5e seem to align close enough for it not to matter. This could easily be used in a 5e game i imagine. https://roleplayingtips.com/tools/ex...ntory-for-you/ |

Thanks! The spreadsheet from Roleplayingtips.com looks like it will be useful.
