Everytime I open army builder and go to open 40k roster the auto update does what it does and I import the new file. When I try and open the 40k roster I get a whole series of data file 'not defined' (there is about 50 of them) and army builder closes. If I try and open army builder again it repeats the above indicating I dont have the lastest update and re download/imports it and again I get the 'not defined' file error. Please help

I've tried both 1.36 and 1.37 with AB3.3b and am unable to reproduce the issue you guys are having. Typically when that happens it means you got a broken download somehow; could you please delete your copy of the 40K files and re-download a complete set via the auto-update?
The easiest way to do this is to open a working game system (so you can get into the program proper) the select "delete game system" from the Tools menu, then delete the 40K files from the list of installed game systems. Once that's done, you can re-download from the update list again. Click here to get 2.25GB of DropBox cloud storage free! That is not the error that was initially reported. In fact it's not an error at all; IAA:SE content is not present because it hasn't been released as part of the files yet.

To address the initial post, due to bug fixes and unit/option changes between file releases it's usual to have old rosters fail to load in later files. You will need to recreate the roster. There is a warning on the updates explaining this.
