OK--new problem. I've used tweaks quite a bit to render options for items.
Because the tweaks often have descriptive text that is the same each time it is taken, I've added the "zfut" attribute to the tweaks, and created an option to match them to, so that the information is rendered as a footnote. HOWEVER--the one downside I've discovered to this is as follows (referencing Inquisitor file I'm creating): An item, like "bionic eyes", can have tweaks. One of those tweaks might be "Motion Tracker Auspex". Here's how it's set up: the Item Bionic Eyes has a "tweaks applicable" of "AusMotio" set to "cost", meaning it can be variably selected. the Tweak "AusMotio" (Motion Tracker Auspex) has the attribute "zfut:AusMotio" to render the text about the motion tracker into an option footnote. When I print my roster, the space next to "bionic eyes", which would normally display information about the eyes (i.e. what tweaks are selected) is blank. In my footnotes, I see "Motion Tracker Auspex". Now--the problem comes in b/c I could have a Motion Tracker Auspex that is NOT part of a bionic eye, and so when I see it in my footnotes, I don't necessarily know what it's related to. Is there any way that I can render a tweak as a footnote (using zfut) but still have it show up in what is essentially the "Report" field of the item itself, so that I can see, for the item "bionic eye", that I've selected "motion tracker auspex"? I've tried various things, none of which would work. Other tweaks seem to appear, some don't. If you want to try it and test it out: I'm putting a new version of the file out there--1.4 (for some reason all of the files on the armybuilder folder have disappeared, so I put a copy out in "gw-inquisitor" instead). I've added "Magos Delphan Gruss", a special character. Open a new roster, and add Delphan. Then print. You SHOULD see "Hellfire Shells (10)" listed for "Shot SElector Stubber". You WILL see them auto-selected as an option for that item, but they won't print on that item's line with the other tweaks. It does print the generic "Hellfire Shell" description at the bottom. Did you assign an abbreviation to the tweak? If not, then it will not be
included in the notes for the item. However, if the tweak has an abbreviation, its name should appear next to the item, just like and option name appears for a unit if it has an abbreviation and "foot" is used. This is most likely the problem you're running into. Hope this helps, Rob At 02:51 PM 9/4/2001 -0400, you wrote: >OK--new problem. I thought that might be the problem, after some additional research last
night. Thanks again for your patience and help. I'll double-check that and I assume it will work... > Did you assign an abbreviation to the tweak?
