In the editor, how do you make feats add skill bonuses?

Hello all,

I'm trying to implement the feat "Natural Hunter - Natural Hunters receive a +2 racial bonus on Perception, Stealth, and Survival checks." and I'm having trouble understanding how to do it. If it would be easier to implement as a trait or special, that's fine. I'm not married to the idea of it being a feat.

Though, since I'm trying to add this feat to support a "CatFolk" race (don't ask - she's a young player and insisted), my problems could probably be solved if someone had a CatFolk race plugin to drop in. :)

Thanks,
/hdan

Catfolk is a race in Bestiary 3. You may also want to wait a week and see if it's one of the races in the ARG.

Thanks for the tip.

But *is* there a way to have feats add skill points? Or is that more of a "trait" thing, and if so, how do I add skill points to a trait?

You mean like the way feats like Acrobatic or Alterness add skill bonuses?

In the editor, you can press the "New (Copy)" button on the bottom left to take a look at how an existing feat applies its effects.

(Reminder: delete that copy before you test the real one you're creating)

Or, if you meant to make this a racial ability, there are existing abilities like the Keen Senses ability an Elf gets.
