The Threat Report just released a new character today who has a Feature that lets her base her Initiative off her Intellect instead of her Agility. Is there a way we can add an effect like this into the next update?

I know there was an optional rule that did this in the 2E game, a Feat as I recall. Or would it be easier to create it as a new Advantage in the software?

Actually, this just occurred to to me...

What if we put some kind of mechanical aspect to Feature, like a trait modification, with no affect on the cost of the power? And put a 'Toggle' checkbox next to the name so you can turn the trait on or off when you wanted it calculated in... so you could say, add 9 ranks of Initiative, or Intimidation, or whatever, but only when the Feature was being useful?

Just a thought. That might be more trouble than it's worth, though.

Yeah, it used to be "Speed of Thought" I think, but it wasn't carried over to 3e. I'll add a way of doing this for the next version.

You can already add "mechanical features" like you suggest - check out the "In-Play Adjustments" table at the bottom of the Adjust tab.

Der. Okay, I feel silly now. But thanks.

I keep forgetting about that Adjust tab...
