Hello,
I am currently making a new realm. I frequently sync and this morning I got the following error message: Sync failed with error code: Sync Failure (-520) I tried deleting local preferences. That didn't work. Any suggestions on what to do? Is customer support still active? Thanks! Mike |

Customer support for Realm Works is pretty much as dead as the product.\
I had several cases open, several were closed without even a "hello" and last com was first week Feb and I am still with out any assitance. So my sub has lapsed, no sense in wasting money. I would just let lwd support know and retry every now and then.
In case you need to move your date between machines you can maybe resort to backup -> restore to replace all realms on your target machine. Sorry about the late reply. I didnt get a notification someone replied.
I got a response from customer support. Ryan did try to help me and provided my info to the tech guy but basically they didn't have the time and resources to solve this issue. Really sucks, I lost almost 200 entries.. But today I deleted local data and went back to the server sync. Now to redo all this work. This setback is annoying but what really annoys me is the dread that this can (and will) happen again.. It is the fourth 502 sync error I'm experiencing in all my years of using Realm Works. Admitted, I am a pretty intense user of the realm so its bound to happen at some point but it makes it a bit stressful to really enter all the data that I want to enter.. Anyways, thanks for your time folks! |

It might not help particularly long-term. But before deleting your local data you could try doing a realm export. Depending on what the data was that you'd entered, you could modify the RWexport file to contain only the topics that you need to import again.
