Adding Monsters

Im new to HL, I want to add a custom monster to HL. How do I do that? This is around 5e. I know there are other tools being released later this month, is that part of what is to come or did I miss something thats already there?

The SRD monsters are coming out soon, but if you want to add races before then you certainly can. They are added on the Race tab of the editor.
