Adding Equipment to Races

Is this possible I dont think it is because I saw the Giants dont have and neither do some of the other races.
I was just wondering becaue I was converting the Demonic Knight from Tomb of Horrors and he has a Magic Sword and Armor

If you bootstrap the item from the race, and a GM decides that this one doesn't have that item, or has lost it, or set it down in another room, a bootstrapped thing can't be removed. So, bootstrapping equipment is not something I've done for any of the races I've created. See the stock portfolios thread I posted early last week for how to create a stock portfolio for the race - the stock portfolio can be equipped as listed for the race.
