Is there a way to give an archetype for a non-spellcasting class, spellcasting ability?

Not currently, I'm sorry to say. I've added this to the to-do list.

This is still on our to-do list. Is this ability actually used by any published archetype so far?

Cool, we are working on an update to the Modern Path - Arcana, and really kind of waiting until I can do this in Hero Lab

Is there a way to script this in? If not I guess I could make the Modern Hero class a spellcaster and then have each archetype remove or adjust spellcasting. I guess that will work, just kind of buggy

It might be easiest just to make two versions of the class - one for spellcasting, one for non-spellcasting. Then just have each archetype affect the appropriate version of the class.
The two classes can share abilities, so you're not really doing much more work than creating one version of the class. |

Yea, I guess, IDK. I think I will go with my first thought and just update the class when it's put into HL.
