Hello everyone! Jason from Blackwyrm Publishing here.
We're working on a Kickstarter project right now in which we intend to release three different print and electronic versions of the same roleplaying game book: one for the Hero System, one for Mutants & Masterminds, and one for Savage Worlds. Each will have a different layout to reflect the differing tastes of each fan base. If this project works out, it will serve as a blueprint for three other future projects. Here's my question. We purchased and used the Hero Labs software package to create the stat blocks for the M&M and Savage Worlds editions, and correspondingly have the Hero Labs character files from that process. We would like to zip them together and offer them to backers of the project. (I believe they would be called “Add On's” in Hero Lab's parlance?) Later, we would also like to offer them as a commercial product. You can do this with Character Packs from Hero Designer, which we have a license for. Is that allowable under the basic Hero Labs software license that comes with purchase? If not, is it allowed under another license we can get? I don't seem to be able to get hold of Lone Wolf Development, and hoped one of you might know. Thank you for your time and help. |

Sounds cool. I like Savage Worlds and Mutants and Masterminds.
Evil wins because good rolls poorly .... or the players are not paying enough attention to the game. |
