There's not a way to add totally custom spells, but if you go to the Adjustments tab, from either the Temporary or Permanent Adjustments tables you can use Add Spell to Class List to add an existing spell as an option to a selected list. You can also do things like adding all spells of a certain type, like wizard spells.
