It seems like there are a number of equipment types that don't fall into the typical categories such as Armor, Weapons and General Equipment; the Handwraps are a good example of hand-slot general equipment that act like a Weapon for purposes of attack/damage bonuses, quality and Runes.

I'm not certain how these are being scripted on the back-end, but it seems like an internal object trait such as weapon or ranged or container or consumable and corresponding object sub-traits or classes such as container.capacity would help standardize some of this and handle situations where something falls into multiple categories...

Love to hear what the devs are thinking on this...
