Yep, as you noticed, I tried to get an official response on the Pathfinder Forums - I'll get to these eventually, and hope for an official errata in the meantime. The current copies are just re-named/different item slot SRD items, which is why they still give the bonus in the same way.
The fact that the total skill points adjustment doesn't work is a bug I'll get fixed for the next release.
