The very last or next to last item on each editor tab is "Sources". Create a new source, in the default UserParent group on one of your items, and then "Test Now!". Then, add the same source to everything else using each one's Sources button.
Now, in the Character menu, choose Configure Hero, and turn on your new source - your new content will now be available only while that source is turned on.
