    How do I download a setting ( Deadlands Noir )

    SO I looked at the Settings thread and I guess the Deadlands Noir setting is official and you can get it via the downloader? But I do not see it anywhere and my copy of Herolabs only shows the default under settings. So where is this downloader? How can I download this setting?

    Specializing in Gun Kata

    My understanding was that Specializing in a martial art gives a +2 to your dice pool. While Specializing in say karate provides a +2 to unarmed combat, specializing pistols in GunKata does not. Shouldn't it?

    What doe it mean when a spell ( added via advancement ) is in blue text instead of white? Does that mena the spell is still being learned and is not available yet?

    Editor question - weapons

    Got a quick question about creating a weapon using the editor tool. I want to create a unique magical sword, after I have created the weapon and saved the user file. I compiled the data fileand I can select it in herolabs, but the name always has a "(2)" at the end. What am I doing wrong...

    Want to cros a toxic spirit with an insect spirit

    Looking to give my players a bit of a challenge. I have a story arc starting that has the Toxic Shaman in Glow City pairing with a insect shaman to breed some nasty critters ( yes I read Crimson ). Anyway any advice on how to do this would be appreciated.

    Toxic Harpy gets flight skill but no flight movement

    Per the subject line. Generating some toxic critters and noticed the toxic harpy (as well as the Toxic griffin ) both get errors because they have the flight skill but no flight movement defined.

    Learning metamagics/schools

    So my mage is already initiated, and my first metamagic was exorcism. ow I have a bunch karma to spend, and I want to learn the ritual whisper of bones. However it is greyed out because I do not know the school of necromancy. OK I initiate again, but there is no where to indicate which school...

    How to apply the armor spell without encumbrance penalties

    So I figured out how to use the temporary adjustments. The problem is when you use these to simulate an armor spell it adds encumbrance to the character. Is there a way to do this without adding the encumbrance?
