    XML APIs?

    Forgive my coder geek curiosity, but what XML APIs are you using in Hero Lab? I've been reading up on coding with XML in anticipation of the release of the authoring kit, and I noticed some similarities with Hero Lab's scripting.

    A Suggestion

    I had an idea for all you would-be and current data file authors out there. Why not use a scripting language such as Python for generating data files? Field data should be easy enough to prepare in a text file, and writing scriptes shouldn't take long. I've used scripts before to generate html code.

    Volunteering?

    Would it be possible for users to volunteer to test or help build a particular dataset? I just picked up the Shadowrun4th book, and I wouldn't mind helping out.

    Artwork on the sheet?

    Are there plans to include the capability to add a picture of the character to the sheet? And what about the ability to replace the character's name with a 'logo' of sorts for them? M&M players really like to add their character's portrait to the sheet if they can.

    Merit Problem

    I tried making a WoD character recently. When I tried adding a second dot of contacts, it counts the second dot as two merit dots instead of one.

    Games Besides Vampire? (Changeling, Mage, etc.)

    Will the dataset cover games besides Vampire? I'm getting back into playing with the Camarilla, and would like to keep my character records in Hero Lab if possible.

    Creating Data Files for Other Games

    I downloaded the demo for Hero Lab today, and am duly impressed. However, I'd like to know when we'll be able to create data files for non-d20 games. One of my current favorite systems is FATE 3.0/Spirit of the Century, and I'd like to be able to use Hero Lab for it.
