Paladin 1 feats

I've created an Aasimar Paladin for one of my players and HL is telling me he has 2 feats to use at level 1. Maybe I'm just tired, but I can't figure out how he should have more than one. Aasimars don't have a bonus feat and Pallies don't get a bonus feat at level 1, so the level 1 character feat should be it. Any ideas?

Nope it shouldnt have two feats. Just tried and I can't duplicate the issue.

My one wild thought. If using Hero Points from the APG there is an option to not take HP on the Configure the Hero window. That then gives a bonus feat.

It's the only thing I can think of.

Hero Points is causing the issue. We had a Assimar Paladin that had the same issue. Came to the table with 2 beginning traits. Once he disabled Hero Points the extra feat disappeared.

Yup, that looks like the problem. When I enable Hero Points, the feat goes away. None of the other characters I've statted out have had an extra feat, so this must be an Aasimar paladin specific bug.

Ok just to make sure everyone is on the same page I don't see HL doing anything wrong or see any bug. There are two options that control Hero Points in HL.

I have attached a pic to help.

A) This section allows you to turn on Hero Points from the APG if your group/campaign is using Hero Points.

B) This section allows you to decide to NOT use Hero Points for this specific character and instead gain a bonus Feat. This is outlined in the APG page 324 under Antihero sidebar. Which is *maybe* the only issue that the wording in section B should be changed to Antihero to match the APG.

That explains something else weird that I was seeing.
