Staff Nexus thesis/Choose an option?
 

Hey All
trying a wizard with the Staff Nexus thesis. I see HLO says Choose An Option when picking that thesis but what exactly am I choosing and where? I haven't done much with staves so not sure where we can add charges or update whatever we need to for this Thesis

You're choosing a staff as your focus. In the weapons table, add a makeshift staff. Then back in the wizard section, select the staff. You'll then be prompted to choose your staff's spells.

Yep, got an email regarding my submitting this as a bug. Works great with makeshift staff or another magical staff

Still don’t have a way to select a staff

What staff did you add on the weapons tab? The "Staff" weapon, a specific magical staff, or the "Makeshift Staff" that can be made for this ability? You may need to un-check the checkbox that hides all the specific magic weapons to see the rest of them.

i can not find the "Makeshift Staff" in the weapons list - do i have to make it as a custom item ?
i previously had just a "staff" from the weapons page and was not able to add the spells-

On the Staff Nexus thesis itself, select which staff it's modifying - once you do that, the chosen staff should show the Spells table to add the spells. I just tested and it worked on a plain "Staff" weapon.

Do you have a staff in your weapons inventory? The plain ordinary staff that you buy for zero coppers.

I used the plain regular staff that you buy for zero copper.
