Titled positions
 

Could some one give me some instruction on how best to use the titled positions topic and how to place an individual in that titled position.

I think I have just over complicated things and confused my self.

A titled position is something like King or Pope.
It describes the position, not the person with the position.

Should it be used in place of the individual topic or is it some thing to add to an individual?

I think the intention is to use it to describe the position itself. For instance the details common to all Popes or Kings of England would go in such topics. For a specific Pope or King I create an individual with the correct name and give the suffix Pope or King or whatever.

I used it to define positions like "First Blade", the personal bodyguard of the emperor in my world and things like this.

Now that I have the Titled Positions made, how do I connect the Title to the individual?

You can make relation between the individual and the titled position by drag and drop action in the navigation bar. This will open dialog that will allow you to set up the proper relation type.

For linking Title to individual I would use the “Arbitrary connection to” and write what kind it is the pop up dialog.

Later, when you hover over the link in the right-side panel, the entry will appear as tooltip
