Ring of Wizardry
 

As is probably obvious from my recent posts, I’m trying to build a wizard. Specifically, I am trying to build PF2 version of a level 20 BBEG wizard from a certain PF1 adventure path. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m trying to boost the Wiz to be as powerful as possible and am going through the magic items that seem to be thematic. I purchased a ring of wizardry IV, invested and equipped it, and while the +2 item bonus to Arcana checks appears, there is no increase to the number of spell slots (the RoW IV adds two level 4 slots and one level 3 slot per day).

Any chance this is related to the Spell Blending issue noted in this thread? It seems like maybe there is a disconnect between the progression of a wizard’s spell slots and abilities & items that change them.
