Free Apprentice Accounts
 

I wanted to say kudos to Lone Wolf for making apprentice accounts free!

Many of us have been clamoring for an easier way to get our players to use Hero Lab and asking for a higher tier patron account so we could just cover the cost for our players. This answer to that problem is so much better than I had hoped for.

I am hesitant to say too much on the behalf of the rest of the team but I did want to just poke my head in here to speak up on my own accord.

This kind of change is something that we heard requests for and had considered for some time and we are truly elated that we were able to get this and some other changes to how groups, families, and gamers alike can more easily and affordably lean into the content sharing functions.

As a small team, it can be challenging to pivot from one plan or way of things quickly, the shift to allowing content to be shared more freely is one such example of that and the team has been hard at work getting this ready for a while now, so trust me when I say that the team was eager to help get these changes in place as soon as we knew they were ready. There are still other refinements, tweaks, and feature additions that we have in mind as well for the future too, but no matter what, if ever anybody even so much as has an idea for a feature they'd like to see or perhaps changes they'd like to have made please to send us an email so we can get it documented for consideration.

Yeah this is fantastic news for me as it helps me to push some more players towards Herolab.

Saves me a little money. I have my patron account, but I also pay for an apprentice account so that one of my roommates will use it. now i'll have her make her OWN account :P

Works well for me. My regular players have apprentice accounts but adding a newcomer for a Couple of sessions meant he needed to use the pdf.
