Racial HD vs CR

In the back of the bestiary under the monsters as PC section. It talks about using CR instead of Racial HD for monster level. Is there a place for this in Hero Lab?

I could be wrong but isn't that what the Encounter builder does? Allows you to choose monsters by their CR level?

Level vs CR

A homunculus is a CR 1 with 2 Racial HD.

So if you wanted play a homunculus as a 5th level PC according to Hero Labs you would have a 2 Construct/3 levels of something else. Because it has 2 Racial HD

In the back of the Bestiary as I understand the write up in the back with monsters as PC's it would be be 4 level of something and you would have one level missing because it was a CR 1.

so is there a way in Hero Labs do it the way the Bestiary does?
