Automatic Bonus Progression?

Is Automatic Bonus Progression supported in character or a campaign? I am not finding it but it would be a great variant rule to add :)

On the character settings ... Campaign Shared Options ... GMG Magic Item Variants
(2nd item up from the very bottom)
