Pathfinder 2e pets

Pets are spelled out in the book. After reading the book it seems like this could be an easy second category or create on with the classes that get pets as a class feat so you can have a character sheet for the pet and have its actions/rolls on the main character sheet.

Hi Trills,

Could you send that idea to support@wolflair.com so I can tag it as a future enhancement possibility?

The feats that give familiars have a text desc that says they are coming in a future patch here soon. Most animal companion logic was added but they ran out of time befor GenCon for familiars.

Unless “pets” mean something other than familiars?

My dictionary says a pet is "a domestic or tamed animal kept for companionship or pleasure." I guess "animal companion" sort of fits that, but I'm not sure "familiar" ("a demon supposedly attending and obeying a witch, often said to assume the form of an animal") does. :-)

Also I looked for "pet" in the CRB. Didn't find it.

Considering these posts are referencing the playtest, I’m not sure it matters. This is from 4 years ago…
