Need some help understanding what happened.

If you have time and the inclination - please look at this hero lab character that I've attached. When I activate the Bear power - the Unarmed Special changes, and I'm trying to understand why/how it reached the number that it reached. Why is unarmed +10? Why is the DC 25? Is there a math tradeoff that happened that I missed? Is there a way I can see what it is? Thanks for any help you can provide.

If your character is PL 10, then your total to hit and damage rank cannot exceed 20. DC 25 means Damage Rank 10. So if your base to melee attack bonus is +14, then your maximum damage rank is 6. Basically, you're trading off accuracy for brute force.

Your .por file is also returning errors due to exceeding certain limits. I tweaked the powers you had for Bear and Panther styles in a way to keep your hit bonuses.

Monk Fu

My personal advice (which you can take or ignore as you like) is to drop your Close Combat Skill by 4 ranks, and if you want a higher melee attack incorporate the extra bonus into the martial arts style. Also, you can add Grab to your Close Combat. Take a look at my edited .por and see what I mean.
