Just to let people know I'm still checking this forum, and still looking at Mongoose's forums for any hope of SST surviving.

Not looking good. Mongoose's offical word appears to be there are liscensing things going on and the rules are in playtesting. Given the amount of time we've been hearing this, combined with missed date after missed date all with exactly nothing actually being released, personally I don't buy it. But heck, it takes me maybe 10 min once a month to check both forums, so I'm holding out hope those firefrys may get dusted off the shelf someday.

But, we're going to play a few games, and then they go off the shelves and into long term storage.
