How to add new familiars and animal companions

Is there a menu to use to add new Familiars? Or is it a matter of designating new beasts or animals to be options for familiars or animal companions?

You add a familiar under the "Race" tab, and then "Race" again. Create it as a normal creature and tick the "Arcane Familiar" box.

What about Animal Companions? Is it the same process?

There's a tab in the Race grouping called "Race, Anim Comp", so add animal companions on that tab.
