BUG: Warbands, Empire Veteran Units

It appears that when you upgrade a unit in the warbands list to veteran status it doesn not increase the cost of your overall roster. It should be 10 times the veteran rank in points.

This doesn't appear to be limited to just empire lists.

Thanks for the help.

i believe the cost should not increase - instead, the warband rating should increase? (there is a stat for the warband rating you can view)

i cant find anything on the warbands page saying the veteran status should increase the cost of a unit, only the warband rating. is this correct?

It's tricky...To the best of my knowledge they never actually clarify this in the three articles...unfortunately it can be read either way, it makes trying to judge a "200" pt battle much harder...

Hmmmm Interesting.

I think that you are perhaps correct. Becase they derive a differece between cost and rating...I would have thought since you have to pay 10 exp for it... it should show up somewhere total cost of the army and unit.

It says in the third chapter of the warbands rules... that "no warband may be more than 500pts. However, there is no maximum on a warband's WBR."

i don't, apparently, do this correctly but i always adjust the roster size to equal the total warband rating. I then can add and take away units and have all the validation work properly to make sure there are no mistakes.

Is there some way to set the maximum rating so that you recieve a validation error if you go over it?

Also would there be a way to calculate remaining Exp? which would be your WBR - cost - vet status - additional arch types beyond the first.

It seems to be the most sensable way.

you can always look at the warband rating in the stats window and delete things if it goes over 500... i dont want to add an actual rule because its "unoficial"...

what do you mean by 'remaining exp'? remaining exp for what, each unit??

thx
