Best way to handle this prereq?

Ok, trying to figure out the best way to handle this prereq on an Arcane Background for Lost Colony:

A Breaker may not take Power Edges from Savage Worlds except Channeling, New Powers, Power Points, Power Surge, and Rapid Recharge.

I thought about doing an Extend Thing on each power edge in the SWADE core and adding a Helper.BreakerValid tag. Then do a pre-req script where if the hero has a power edge without that tag, it's invalid.

Any ideas for a better way for this?

It might be easier to do a search for any Edges with the Edge Type of Power that are not on that list. I can see the attraction of tags, but since you have to identify them to put the tags on them you're already there.
