Custom print output
 

Hi!

I'm new to this AB file creating business. I'm currently working on the Warma/Hordes files and I found that in the Print output the Warjacks' Damage Grid is printed in a very nice way.

I want to know how is this achieved since the only thing that I do when i created a new Warjack is entering the damage grid info on the "Edit Extra Data" window.

Can anyone point me in the direction to know how this is done?

Hi there,

I just took a quick look at the Warmachine files, and it looks like the special processing of the damage to draw the damage grid is being done in the "entityextra" script in the "abilities.dat" file, on the "Global Scripts" tab. It's turning the damage grid into encoded text, which you can read more about in the authoring kit manual.
