I have looked further into Great Dragons as a playable race.

The April Fools .pdf glosses over Great Dragons from what I can see, not really helping.
Looking at 'The Clutch of the Dragons' I found one section saying that we can use the generic stats from the SR4A, but those are the same as the racial minimums of the PC race anyway.

It also mentioned that we could derive stats by looking at a few of the named great Dragons. I need to look more into it, but I might be able to figure out something.

If anyone knows where I can get some hard numbers on Great Dragons, it would be a great help.

Cheers,

I did get some assistance from Mathias, from Development Support, so credit where credit is due.

I have created a .user file that holds all 4 dragons, the Magical Tradition, and the metamagic.

I had to create a number of checks that run when the race is loaded, so the stats displayed when picking it are incorrect.
Once the race is loaded, it should match the .pdf released.

If you see any issues, please let me know, as I would love to get this perfect.
Please note, that I am very new at this, so I do expect there to be some mistakes.

I hope you enjoy.

ps. I had to upload the file as a .zip, as the forums don't appear to let me upload a .user file directly.

A litte (ok, very) late. But it appears that the Dragons are there two times (or, I have some issue with old data files, somewhere?).
Onces as Dragon, XXX (like Dragon, Western)
once as XXX Dragon (like Western Dragon)

Edit: Problem was on my side.
